Add Items To Table Of Contents Word. Scroll down the menu. Add a new table of contents Click a page in the document where you want the table of contents added.
And then click Save Selection as a New Quick Style. Click Field Codes Options Select b for Bookmark click Add to Field. From the top menu bar select References and then click on the Table of Contents option.
In Word put your cursor where you would like the TOC to appear go to the References tab in Word and click on Table of Contents The table of contents section of the References tab in Word.
Now go and create the TOC. In order to do this you must first create your automatic table of contents in Word. On the toolbar ribbon select References. On the Home tab in the Styles group click the More button.
